Autumn Urn Half Day Workshop

Inspired by the still life paintings of the Dutch Masters you will spend an autumn afternoon creating a beautiful floral urn arrangement in the glasshouse at Renishaw Hall.

You will gathering seasonal flowers, foliage, berries, and seed heads from the Cutting Garden and collect wind-falls from the orchard.

Returning to the vine-laden Victorian glasshouse, you will condition your flowers, and enjoy home made cakes and refreshments.

You will create your own urn arrangement, using your personal selection of autumnal flowers and foliage. There will be a wonderful selection of fabrics and props to build a seasonal still life arrangement for photographs in the glasshouse, and inspiration to reuse your urn throughout the seasons at home.

These are small groups to allow for lots of space and time to experiment, share ideas, work together on large arrangements, and create your own individual work to take home.

All equipment, refreshments, ceramic urns, flowers and foliage, are included.
